The session has voted that beginning Sunday August 1, we will be lifting many of the Covid-19 restrictions for our worship. While we celebrate this next step in our return to “normal” worship, we are very aware of the changing nature of vaccinations, infections, and variants. The session has strived to base their decisions on the most up to date CDC guidelines and will continue to follow those guidelines moving forward.
If you are fully vaccinated, masks/face coverings will not be required, nor will you be required to distance yourself from others. (We ask that you be sensitive to others and their sense of personal space and safe distance) The CDC considers an individual to be fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or two weeks after the single dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
If you are not fully vaccinated, masks/face coverings are recommended when in the building. We trust that those who are not vaccinated will protect themselves, and especially our younger children who are not able to receive the vaccine yet, by wearing a mask and maintaining social distance.
We will continue to sing and project the liturgy onto the wall. There will be a small number of bulletins for those who want a paper bulletin and the offering baskets will be passed in worship.
Please feel free to communicate to Pastor Alex and any members of the session your questions or concerns.
