2021 Synod School: Called Out
July 25-30, 2021
Buena Vista University

Just as God called Lazarus out of the tomb, God calls us out of our slumber, out of our sleep, out of our complacency, out of our grief, out of our past, out of our comfort, out of our quarantines and more. God has plans for us and never stops calling us. Join us as we embrace the newness 2021 brings and what it means to faithfully wake up, rise, and respond to God’s call. “Sleeper, awake. Rise from the dead. And Christ will shine on you.”

CROSS Backpack Giveaway

CROSS Outreach will be helping children that are under served this year through the Back-Pack-Giveaway.  We discovered a new way of doing this last year because of the Pandemic.  It worked so well that we will continue the same process this year.  We will distribute all of the most needed school supplies to the Des Moines Public Schools, they in turn will give the supplies to the children most in need.

You can support this worthwhile project through a monetary donation. A gift of $15.00 to CROSS Outreach will help purchase a back pack filled with age –appropriate school supplies.  The needs are greater now than they have ever been.
Thank you for your help.

Donations can be mailed to:
