Beginning Sunday, January 19, 2020, Heartland Presbyterian Church will kick-off their 25th Anniversary Celebration with recognition of charter members and a reception to follow worship. For the next eight months we will be celebrating this milestone in our life as a church with various events and activities culminating with a big party on Sunday, August 30. The Rev. D. Mark Davis, a former pastor at Heartland will be joining us in our August celebration.
In our life together and in our worship, we will be reflecting on the theme Love, Justice and All that Jazz, and how we can continue to live out our faithful discipleship into the future.
Over the course of the next few months, a visual timeline of the history of Heartland will be present in the church’s community center. Also, look for new banners for our Sanctuary. Some of the events being planned include reunions of various groups in our church from the Heartland Jazz Band to the Heartland Youth Group. Dates for these reunions are still to be determined.

Palm Sunday with Papusa Lunch to follow. We will be having reunions of past El Salvador delegations as well as sharing the history of our mission work in El Salvador.
