In this Sunday School Class we will be reading together a book by Journalist Kate Murphy exploring the barriers and challenges of truly listening to others. Listening is a skill underdeveloped in our modern world leading to loneliness, polarization, and disconnection. Murphy with humor and insight explores the psychology, neuroscience, and sociology of listening. The class will also discuss the importance of listening in our spiritual lives both to God and each other. Books are available in the office.
